After last weekend's Dracula-disaster, I went into Room 13 with relatively low expectations. I wanted to be entertained, but I wasn't hoping for a whole lot more!

However, I was pleasantly surprised! The Barn Theatre was great, and have managed to put together a really good show. It bounces along well, with plenty of jumpscares along the way. It's pacey, and doesn't linger anywhere for too long. The lighting helps to create a really ominous atmosphere, and above all else, the performers can... act! Apparently not a given these days...

Overall, I was really impressed with Room 13, and look forward to seeing what else the Barn produce.
