Starring Ncuti Gatwa and Hugh Skinner, The Importance of Being Earnest was a really strong production. It was incredibly camp, which made it an entertaining watch!

Beloved by ameuter dramatists, a weaker cast could easily have made the production unwatchable. However, without exception, the performers were excellent, and helped to make the old-fashioned style of script accessible to a modern audience.

Overall, it was really good! However, I would possibly have tried to cut 15 minutes off it - while enjoyable, 2h 40m is quite long, particularly for a play where not very much happens.
