Truly excellent.

Very few plays actually make me cry, but this one did. Technically outstanding, the stunning lighting and cleverly integrated projection helped to tell the story, linking the stage version to the original book in a way that was both subtle and effective.

The performers were excellent

The performers themselves were excellent - the cast was formed of over 30 people. And all of this is beside the puppetry, which really made the show as special as it is. Incredible is the only word that can even begin to describe the intricate, lifelike puppets they use to represent the horses. Every detail, even down to the smallest twitch or movement, was carefully emulated - amazing.
